Gold-Wall is the best alternative to the multi-step process of installing Z-furring and rigid insulation systems used to insulate exterior concrete block, precast or tilt-up, or poured concrete walls. Gold-Wall replaces the labor intensive process of installing Z-furring then insulation, more Z-furring and more insulation with a single step. Gold-Wall comes in easy to handle 4 x 8 panels that are simply shot onto the wall through the embedded furring channels with a shot & pin fastener. The furring is totally isolated from the exterior wall providing enhanced thermal performance over traditional Z-furring and rigid insulation methods. Drywall is then screwed to the secured furring in the Gold-Wall Panels.
